First off, I’d like to welcome all of the new Trial High Rank members to SWAT (and welcome back to the people who have worked here before)! I’m sure you’d all fit in and that you’ll continue to work hard here just like you did at the agency you transferred from.
I’m posting this to make sure you’re aware of the two main policies and rules we have put in place that all members of SWAT should follow.
The first, is Flag, Educate and Consult. This is how we should face issues to do with people not obeying the seven rules whilst in the HQ.
F stands for Flag. This is when the HRA+ should flag what the problem is, and how to overcome it.
E stands for Educate. This is when the HRA+ should explain to them what the problem is and why it is not allowed.
C stands for Consult. If they continue to do with what they were doing and did not listen to the HRA+, this is when the HRA+ consult them; tell them that they should stop and if it continues after this a punishment would be introduced.
If this doesn't work, the HRA+ should speak to someone who is able to give the correct punishment.

The second policy is the ranking policy and promotion guideline. Even though you can not promote, demote or fire until you get your rank after your 1-2 week trail, I’d like to make you aware of the guideline. Make sure you also check the promotion logs before promoting someone to ensure that they have been that rank for the length stated in the promotion guideline.
We have this put in place so that people are not promoted too quickly – this makes it more fair, and that we don’t have too many people in the Presidential Unit.
You can check the promotion guideline and ranking policy by clicking here. Also, you must not promote someone just because their time of being that particular rank is up – they must earn the rank that is next by working hard, instead of sitting in the back doing nothing for hours (they could at least try to get a seat on the front).
As someone who has transferred, you may not be able to promote, but you can train new agents. Before doing this, please remember to create a training log. This means we can look up if someone has been trained or if they have self-promoted, and also saves the agent having to be retrained. When making a training log, click here and then click the black “Start New Topic” button in the top right hand corner. As the Topic Title put your name and then “training log” and in the box below, put something like “this is where I will post my trained agents”, or put the layout that you will use when training them. For example:
Make sure you include what timezone you’re in as this would help when people promote them :-)
Note: The official training script can be found by clicking here.
You can also work in security. Many people find that this is their most enjoyable part of SWAT and spend hours in this section. Remember that at least one person must be in security at all times and that only a maximum of three are allowed to be in there.
When working in security, make sure you follow the B.U.M.P. procedure.
B is for Badge – make sure the badge that the person is wearing is owned by jmmey321 or hippychick1996.
U is for Uniform – make sure that if the person is lower than HRA, they are wearing the correct uniform (check their shoes – I find this is the thing they are most likely to change).
M is for Motto – make sure you check their rank is legit and that the tag is correct. Ask them to tell you who promoted or trained them, this lowers the risk of self-promoters getting in base. To double check their promoter is correct, you can click here for a list of promotion tags, click here to see promotion logs, and here for training logs.
P is for Profile – make sure you check their profile to see if they have any other work badges. If they do have any, inform them and tell them they must remove the badge before they can enter. There are such things as “trap badges” now, which are badges that can not be removed due to the kick wired, so we leave them.
Okay, so above is a screenshot of security.
Before stepping on the tiles, check the persons B.U.M.P.
The blue tile with the arrow facing toward training is the tile you stand on to make the agent go to training.
The blue tile in the middle with nothing on sends the person to the FTB area in the HQ.
The red tile sends them to the lobby so that they can correct what was wrong and then they can go through the front desks again.
And that’s the basic outline to our security system. It may be a bit different to the security at the agency you have transferred from, so don’t worry if you take a while when checking or need to ask someone else for help, they’ll understand – we’ve all been in that situation before!
Quick things to note as well:
- Only Cabinet+ members can have a HRA.
- If you are caught double jobbing, you will be demoted or fired and also a badge removal from both agencies (so I highly suggest you don’t do this).
- Remember to stick to the rules that are on the training script which can be found by clicking here.
Once you've got your rank, you'll be able to attend weekly unit meetings. This is where we tell you the latest news and problems and how to overcome them. The BoD and Mod of your unit (which can be found by clicking here or here) discuss your suggestions, and they are essentially your voice. They take in all of your fresh, new ideas which you bring to the meetings that they hold and then take them forward to BoD+ meetings.
I’ll also say that all BoD or Mod members remove of your badge when it is not needed anymore or if you are inactive for 10 days or longer. That means if you go on holiday or just want to take a break for more than 3 days, please fill in a leave of absence which can be found by clicking here.
You may notice and get the feel that SWAT is quite different from many agencies on Habbo, we’re more of a family and everyone is always happy to help each other out. If you do have any problems or queries related to anything to do with SWAT for example your rank, what to do, etc., please don’t hesitate to contact any OOA+, either via Messenger on the forum, PM on Habbo or just in base. We all want to see you succeed at SWAT and want to see you become the best possible person you can to fit the role that suits you.
I hope you find SWAT just as fun and all the members here are friendly – we do love a chat as well as work!
Remember to never give up, strive for the best, and you’ll get to the rank you want to be.
