So, a lovely new agent joined us very recently.
He's very keen! Yesterday, he asked me whether I could help him in the simulators. I happily obliged. We worked through security together, and he was very good at it! I was going to do the training simulator after the meeting, but it was rather late and I needed to go offline. But promised i'd help him tomorrow (today now).
So i come online, and he asks if I can help him as he's asked another HR (will remain nameless for now), and the HR first ignored him and eventually responded with "do i have to?"
^ THAT is bad. As HR's we have a duty to help Agents if they need help. The simulators are there to be used. And HR's should be more than happy to help out. So hearing this really grinded my gears.
The HR involved was also one of 3 HR's that was very rude to an Agent yesterday. They were dressed up in the same outfit but different colours. I joined in with that for fun... But then the lovely new Agent asked what we were doing, and the response she got from these HR's was, "FTF. This doesn't involve you." I made them all apologise to her for that.
So yeah... Basically, just because you're HR does NOT give you the right to slack off and just spend the entire time chatting with your friends. It does NOT give you the right to use your rank as some sort of tool. We are all equal within SWAT. Yes, higher ranks have more control within the agency, but we're still all the same.
We're so so close to 80k. Let's not spoil it by treating agents unfairly, and not helping them learn new skills if they wish to do so.
Rant over
